Bold, lush, and enticing, this Cabernet Sauvignon delivers dark plums, berries and fig wafted with dried tobacco and bay. Tannins are dense while pliable, coating the palate through the lingering finish. Spices are integrated and persistent for an intense, satisfying, full bodied wine.

Tasting notes

Our 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet in color, and opens with aromas of pure dark fruit with a slight grilled herb note. The palate is powerful and dark fruited, concentrated and dense with plenty of structured tannins supported by French oak resulting in an integrated and complex finish.

Vintage Notes

The alluring 2021 vintage is remarkable for its low yields, resulting in an extra degree of concentration in our wines. In the second year of drought, warm spring weather sped up vine growth, while our team judiciously managed watering block by block. By summer, the vines had set a lighter than average crop, and cooler weather in August allowed time for vineyard passes to fine-tune the fruit load and manage the canopy. After a smooth harvest season, we are excited about the flavor-packed 2021 wines.
