The Wine Advocate, Joe CzerwinskiThe 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Montagna Vineyards comes from a site on Pritchard Hill. For a Hall wine, it comes across as the reddest-fruited and most herbal of the wines tasted in this report, offering up scents of raspberries, cherries and dried sage, underscored by hints of mocha. As it should be, it's boldly differentiated from their other offerings. Full-bodied, firm and tannic, with a dusty edge to the finish, it may be the longest lived of the quartet.
