How HALL Rutherford Differs from HALL St. Helena

What’s the difference between HALL St. Helena and HALL Rutherford?

HALL St. Helena and HALL Rutherford are HALL’s two Napa Valley properties. HALL St. Helena is the larger property, on Highway 29, with daily scheduled experiences, more than 35 works of contemporary art, and Lawrence Argent’s sculpture Bunny Foo-Foo at the entrance. HALL Rutherford is a hillside estate with wine caves and the Chandelier Room, where all visits are by appointment and most experiences are private. See the HALL St. Helena FAQ for details on visiting HALL St. Helena.

Should I visit HALL St. Helena or HALL Rutherford?

Visit HALL St. Helena for a classic Napa Valley tasting room experience with a tour, contemporary art, and architecture. Visit HALL Rutherford for an intimate, unhurried experience with access to HALL’s most limited wines, especially if you’re celebrating an occasion.

Is HALL Rutherford worth the extra cost?

It depends on what you want from your visit. HALL Rutherford hosts a maximum of 20 guests per day, so experiences are intimate and unhurried, and the wines poured are the most limited HALL makes: library vintages, single-appellation Cabernet Sauvignons, and The Platinum Collection, much of which is not poured at HALL St. Helena. If you want a classic Napa tasting room with an art collection and more flexibility on timing, HALL St. Helena is the better fit. If you’re celebrating an occasion or you collect HALL Cabernet Sauvignon, HALL Rutherford is the one to book.
